After a year of firsts for Ellen, today is Easter Sunday... Ellen's second Easter! Last year, though, she did little more than lay next to her Easter basket. This year, however, is a completely different story; our baby girl is able to find Easter eggs (in plain view) and crawl them to her Easter basket, though most of the time she excitedly shook them and then proceeded to open them, dump out the chocolate eggs inside, then try to eat them before Mommy could steal them away. In fact, finding Easter eggs was so much fun, we did it twice! Oh, and let me just add that taking pictures of Ellen is becoming increasing difficult with her new found mobility!
"Ooh! A basket filled with plastic and little shiny things!"
"It sure looks like chocolate..."
"It sure tastes like chocolate. Ah, ha! It's chocolate!", as she proceeded to bite off half of the chocolate egg, foil included, until I realized she had done so and had to remove said object from her mouth.
Let the Easter egg hunt begin!
And into her basket
Just some pretty pictures of our pretty daughter in her pretty dress from her...uhh... pretty grandma.
"I'm ready for my close-up!"
Ellen LOVES her new tea pot from the Lehmanns. We love the cheeky smile on her face.
