Ellen is 4 months old today!
Every day we are amazed at how she is growing. This past month she has begun to roll over to each side; when we put her on her play mat, she turns herself around it by rolling over. Her grasp has really improved, too, so she can now pick up toys off the floor beside her and hold on to the toys hanging from the arches on the play mat. Now when she gets excited, she shrieks and kicks her legs all about. Ellen is able to sit up straight with my support and hold her head up and look around; I think she'll be sitting by herself within the next month. Also, she may even be starting to teethe; she has been drooling and gnawing on her fingers and fists for over a month now, but there is also what looks like a little tooth starting to poke out of her gums. And man, oh man, can she talk! We can hardly get a word in edge-wise sometimes - it's really cute...as is she.
Ellen's Uncle Jason and Tia Angela gave Ellen this dress before she was even born! I absolutely love it.
